Packaging
When shipping your valve block for service or returning a core, proper packaging is important to ensure no damage occurs to the electrical connectors on the solenoids. If damage occurs, additional repairs or decreased core value may apply.
Start with sealing the five open ports with suitable plugs.
Cover the solenoids in cardboard to help prevent them from getting crushed in the event of the package being dropped or mishandled.
The valve block fits into USPS Medium Flat Rate Box.
Wrap in plastic or place in suitable bag to contain any residual fluid. Place suitable packaging material under and around valve block. It is important to keep the valve block from shifting inside the box, provide adequate packaging material on all sides of valve block.
